Take me home, country roads! Le Bac can just be seen centre-left of picture; it clings to the the cliff halfway down the side of the gorge. After a long drive on tiny twisty roads, the ground opens up in front of you all of a sudden, and you start the long descent to the river, around some bends that make the ones you've already negotiated, seem tame by comparison. I've come home to my most favourite place on this earth.
